At Core, no single voice can represent us all,
every voice counts.
We are not a single experience or perspective.
What connects us is not sameness, but solidarity.
This Pride, we are spotlighting these stories

Core Research:
Support & Solidarity.
Core Research surveyed 1,000 adults online, representative of the national population of Ireland during May 2026.
This report aims to provide an honest reflection of contemporary Ireland: a society that remains broadly supportive of LGBTQ+ inclusion, while also negotiating new tensions around authenticity, participation and public expression.
Most importantly, it seeks to help organisations, leaders and communities understand how meaningful solidarity can be shown, not just during PRIDE month, but throughout the year
Thank you to Community Contributors.
“What gives me hope in this research is that, beneath the noise and polarisation, Ireland still appears to hold onto something deeper about itself: a basic sense of fairness, decency and live-and-let-live.”
Oisín O’Reilly (he/him)
Chief Executive Officer of Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre and the Chairperson of the Irish Refugee Council.
“When only 51% of people believe LGBTQ+ people still need visible public support, it shows us that our work is far from finished.”
Kieran O'Donovan (he/him)
Chief Executive Officer of Belong To LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland.
“This research reflects what we see in our work promoting allyship in classrooms, workplaces, and communities across Ireland.”
