Making a Great Place to Work

We are delighted to be recognised again this year within the top 10 large Great Places to Work (GPTW) in Ireland. As a member of the GPTW committee at Core alongside the HR team and senior management, we as a collective are committed to bettering our workplace for all employees. The Great Place to Work committee is a team representing each area of the business to ensure everyone has a voice and a safe space to be open and honest. We are continuously striving to do better through creating a positive and supportive environment for all Core members. We exist to support all employees and to offer a space of understanding. Over the years we have achieved a lot – some changes we have introduced over the years, include paid maternity leave, paid paternity leave, working from home and flexi-hours. These have been welcomed by senior management and we will continue to work together to implement further employee-led ideas.I spoke to my colleague Colm about the past 12 months and why we were awarded Eighth Best place to work in large workplaces.
