Pinterest Boosts Q1 Revenue with AI-Powered Ad Tools and Gen Z Focus

Pinterest has delivered an impressive Q1 performance, reporting $855 million in revenue and forecasting $960–980 million for Q2. A major contributor to this momentum is Pinterest’s focus on direct response advertising, which is proving highly effective with Gen Z, its fastest-growing user segment.

Central to this momentum is the launch of Performance+, Pinterest’s AI-powered campaign tool that automates and personalizes ad creation. This tool enables marketers to run more efficient, results-driven campaigns with greater ease and precision.

Pinterest has also expanded its advertising capabilities through a new partnership with ad tech firm Magnite, building on existing collaborations with Google and Amazon. These partnerships increase Pinterest’s appeal to brands seeking broader reach and more effective performance marketing solutions.

As a result, Pinterest is becoming an increasingly valuable platform for advertisers targeting Gen Z and visual-first audiences. With enhanced ad tools and expanded reach, it offers a compelling channel for performance-driven campaigns. Brands should strongly consider integrating Pinterest into their media strategies to capitalize on its growing scale and efficiency, particularly among younger users.
