Disney + Ad Tier Launches in Ireland
Disney+ has officially launched its “Standard with Ads” subscription tier in Ireland this week, marking the first ad‑supported SVOD environment available to Irish audiences. Ads began serving from 5pm March 3rd, opening premium CTV inventory within one of the market’s highest‑engagement platforms.
What’s new
Disney+’s ad tier introduces a brand-safe, long‑form streaming environment with controlled ad loads and Core has secured early, exclusive access to be a launch partner, for all available inventory ahead of wider market availability in April - giving clients a first‑mover advantage during the platform’s launch phase.
As expected during launch, inventory will take a short period to build. However, Disney is confident in delivery, particularly as its recently announced its partnership with Sky and Influent.
As Disney’s appointed media sales partner in Ireland, Influent is working directly with Core on commercial planning, inventory access, and launch activity. Combined with Disney’s distribution partnership with Sky, this ensures strong device availability and a smooth, well‑supported rollout of the Ad Tier for Core clients.
