Sky Media To Manage Warner Bros Discovery Ad Sales In Ireland And UK From Jan 2026

Sky Media has been appointed as the advertising sales partner for Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) across Ireland and the UK, beginning in January 2026. The partnership will see Sky Media take responsibility for ad sales across WBD’s portfolio of linear and streaming platforms, including Discovery Channel, TLC, Eurosport, TNT Sports and the soon-to-launch Max streaming service.

A Strategic Alignment in Premium Video

The agreement brings together two major players in the broadcast and streaming markets. For Warner Bros Discovery, it marks a shift towards a more integrated sales approach, aligning with Sky Media’s established infrastructure and audience data capabilities. For Sky Media, the addition of WBD channels and streaming inventory further expands its premium video offering to advertisers across both markets.

Implications for Irish Market

In Ireland the move is expected to simplify access to a broader range of high-quality content environments. Sky Media already represent several partner channels and digital platforms in the Irish market, and the inclusion of WBD’s portfolio will enable us to plan and measure campaigns across a wider ecosystem.

The centralisation is designed to deliver greater efficiency with streamlined access to both Sky and WBD audiences, with potential to use first-party data for more advanced targeting capabilities.  Above all this partnership signals a more unified approach to premium video advertising with enhanced opportunities for reach, efficiency and audience insight.
